📖 Overview

Maraudon is a sprawling dungeon complex carved into the sacred Centaur canyons of Desolace with three distinct entry points: Purple crystals (Zaetar's side), Orange crystals (Theradras's side), and the Princess wing accessible through a portal after clearing both sides. The dungeon tells the story of Zaetar and Princess Theradras, whose union created the Centaur race.

Maraudon is frequently overlooked by players rushing to ZF and Sunken Temple, but it offers excellent gear and a satisfying story. Use the Scepter of Celebras after cleansing Celebras to get direct portal access to the Princess wing on future runs.

Noxxion

A toxic elemental who periodically transforms and spawns adds. Kill the adds immediately — they apply stacking disease debuffs that spiral out of control fast. The most common wipe point in Maraudon.
Toxic Form: Spawns adds. Kill all adds before resuming boss. Noxious Breath: Disease AoE.

Razorlash

A large thornling boss with a powerful physical bleed on the tank. The bleed must be dispelled promptly or the tank dies to the stacking damage.
Puncture: Bleed DoT on tank. Dispel immediately every time it lands.

Lord Vyletongue

A Satyr boss who teleports around the room and casts shadow spells. Maintain a focus macro and interrupt his Shadow Bolt to reduce sustained damage.
Teleport: Randomly repositions. Use focus macro. Shadow Bolt: Interrupt.

Tinkerer Gizlock

A Goblin engineer boss who throws bombs at random players. The bomb recipient must move away from the group before it detonates — standing still kills nearby allies.
Bomb: Move away from the group immediately when targeted. Mechanical adds: Kill throughout.

Princess Theradras

The dungeon's final boss. She rolls a boulder at random players dealing massive damage to anything in its path. Never stand in a line between her and the walls. High HP, hard-hitting fight.
Boulder: Rolls at a random player. Move perpendicular to her constantly. Dust Field: AoE around her during later phases.

⚔️ Recommended Classes

Druid is the standout healer in Maraudon — the HoT-heavy healing style is perfect for the consistent nature and physical damage. Noxxion's toxic adds are the dungeon's biggest test of DPS discipline. A Mage handles them with AoE more efficiently than anything else.

Scepter of Celebras: Cleansing Celebras (instead of killing him) gives a scepter that opens a portal directly to the Princess wing on future runs. Do this once and skip both wings on farm runs.

⚠️

Noxxion adds snowball: This is Maraudon's signature wipe moment. When his Toxic Form spawns adds, every DPS immediately switches. No exceptions. Groups that keep hitting the boss while adds build up will wipe within 10 seconds.

Three wings: Purple entry is left side of the canyon canyon entrance, Orange is right. The Princess wing is accessed via a portal inside after clearing both. Each wing can be run independently — plan your time before entering.
