📖 Overview
Scholomance is the undead academy inside Caer Darrow castle where Kel'Thuzad trained his necromancers before ascending to lichdom. The dungeon contains the lore foundation for the Scourge's magical hierarchy and is one of vanilla's most atmospheric endgame instances. Multiple rooms, a complex layout, and some of the strongest caster bosses in the game make it a memorable challenge.
Scholomance pairs naturally with Stratholme for endgame pre-raid farming sessions. Two custom Turtle WoW quests add additional objectives. Bring a Priest — the dispel requirements here are among the heaviest of any vanilla dungeon.

⚔️ Recommended Classes
Priest is effectively mandatory in Scholomance. The dispel requirements on Lady Barov alone justify it, and Shackle Undead is outstanding crowd control throughout the densely packed rooms. Mage AoE handles the undead rooms efficiently. Gandling's teleport requires every party member to be capable of handling a sealed room solo.

💡 Tips & Warnings
Gandling teleport: When a player is teleported to a side room they must clear the undead inside to free themselves. Assign roles before pulling: who tanks Gandling during teleport phases, who assists when a room is cleared. Without coordination it becomes chaos across multiple rooms simultaneously.
Lady Barov curses: Both Curse of Agony and Shadow Word: Pain must be dispelled the instant they land. Letting them stack kills the healer and then the tank in quick succession. Priest dispel is not optional here — it is the whole fight.
Malicia deaths: She heals from nearby player deaths. If someone dies during the Malicia fight, the healer must prioritise getting them up immediately — or she risks healing to full from the corpse's proximity.
