📖 Overview

Razorfen Kraul is carved into the enormous thornweed thicket in the southern Barrens, grown from the blood of the ancient boar god Agamaggan who fell here in the War of the Ancients. The Razorfen quillboar have built their city inside it — a sprawling organic dungeon with a naturalistic layout that feels genuinely alien compared to the stonework dungeons of the same bracket.

RFK is frequently overlooked in favour of Scarlet Monastery, but it offers comparable XP for the 27–33 range, is almost never contested, and has a questline that rewards strong gear. Two custom Turtle WoW quests extend the existing lore.

💀 Bosses

01
Aggem Thorncurse
EliteHumanoid
A quillboar priest who continuously summons quillboar adds. Kill adds as they spawn or they will quickly overwhelm the group. Aggem himself is not particularly dangerous once the adds are managed.
Summon Razorfen: Calls 2 quillboar adds repeatedly throughout the fight. Kill adds first, always.
02
Death Speaker Jargba
EliteHumanoid
An undead-aligned quillboar shaman commanding skeletons. He applies shadow DoTs and must have his Shadow Bolt interrupted. Kill skeletons before focusing him.
Shadow Bolt: Interrupt. Death Coil: Brief fear on a party member.
03
Overlord Ramtusk
EliteHumanoid
The dungeon's strongest quillboar boss with two boar adds. He enrages below 30% HP. Kill the adds first then burn Ramtusk down from 30% with all DPS cooldowns.
Boar Adds: Kill both before engaging Ramtusk. Enrage at 30%: Pop cooldowns and finish fast.
04
Agathelos the Raging
EliteBeast
A giant boar boss. Hard-hitting and fast with a charge ability. Tank against a wall to prevent the charge from sending the tank into other mobs.
Charge: Charges random party members. Wall-tank to control knockback direction. Frenzy at 20%: Burn fast.
05
Charlga Razorflank
EliteFinal BossHumanoid
The dungeon's final boss — an ancient quillboar high priestess. She casts Lightning Bolt (interrupt it), summons boar spirits, and has a ground AoE. Classic add-management final boss.
Lightning Bolt: Interrupt. Summon Boar Spirit: Kill adds. Corrupted Earth: Ground AoE, move out.

⚔️ Recommended Classes

Any reasonable composition handles RFK well. Add management is the core skill the dungeon tests — virtually every boss spawns adds. A group that focuses adds before the boss never struggles here. Shaman Totems are particularly useful against the nature-themed boss abilities.

💡 Tips & Warnings

💡

Underrated bracket gem: Most players skip RFK entirely and queue for SM. Running RFK in the 28–33 range alongside early SM wings gives excellent XP diversity and the dungeon is almost never contested — instant groups, no competition.

⚠️

Add management every fight: Every boss in RFK summons or comes with adds. The group that ignores adds and tunnels the boss will wipe repeatedly. Mark adds for priority targeting before every pull.

🐢

Turtle WoW: The Agamaggan's Legacy quest requires looting specific items from named mobs throughout the dungeon. Check quest objectives before vendoring any unusual drops.
