📖 Overview

Zul'Gurub is a 20-man raid in the ruins of an ancient troll city in Stranglethorn Vale requiring no attunement. The Blood God Hakkar has been summoned here by Gurubashi troll priests. Killing five of the six Loa priests before Hakkar removes empowering buffs he draws from them — most raids kill all five before proceeding to the final boss.

ZG resets every three days making it an excellent secondary raid alongside MC. The Swift Zulian Tiger drops from High Priest Thekal and the Swift Razzashi Raptor from Bloodlord Mandokir — two of the game's most coveted mounts.

💡 Key Mechanics & Tips

🦎

Kill all Loa first: Killing all five accessible Loa priests before Hakkar removes their empowering effects. Hakkar with all buffs active is significantly harder. Always kill available Loa before proceeding.

⚠️

Mandokir look mechanic: When he faces a raider his emote warns them. Stop all movement, casting, and attacking until he looks elsewhere. Any action causes instant execution. New raiders must be briefed on this before the pull.

💡

Corrupted Blood spread: During Hakkar spread the raid to prevent Corrupted Blood jumping between multiple players. Healers cure it the moment it is applied.
