📖 Overview

Ragefire Chasm sits directly beneath the streets of Orgrimmar, making it the most conveniently located dungeon in the game for Horde players. The Burning Blade cult — servants of the Burning Legion — have established a base in the underground lava vents. A small but earnest dungeon, RFC does exactly what a first dungeon should: give new players a taste of group combat, boss mechanics, and the loot buzz without overwhelming them.

In Turtle WoW, two custom quests have been added that give RFC more purpose beyond a quick XP run. The dungeon remains short — 30 to 45 minutes with a competent group — but is genuinely worth running at 13–16 before pushing further into the Barrens and the wider Horde questline.

💀 Bosses

01
Oggleflint
EliteHumanoid
A large trogg-like creature guarding the entrance tunnels. Standard tank-and-spank with no special abilities. Good warm-up boss that lets the group settle in before harder encounters ahead.
Sunder Armor: Stacks up on the tank. Healer watches HP closely.
02
Taragaman the Hungerer
EliteHumanoid
The dungeon's signature boss — a large infernal-type demon. He casts Fire Nova which hits everyone near him. Spread the group slightly and keep ranged at maximum distance.
Fire Nova: Small AoE fire damage around him. Spread party 5 yards apart. Interrupt if possible.
03
Jergosh the Invoker
EliteHumanoid
A warlock-style humanoid boss. He casts Curse of Weakness and Immolate. Interrupt his spells if you have an interrupt available and dispel the curse when it lands.
Curse of Weakness: Dispel if you have a dispeller. Immolate: Fire DoT on tank.
04
Bazzalan
EliteFinal BossHumanoid
Final boss. A satyr who comes with two demon adds. Kill the adds first — they apply a poison DoT — then focus Bazzalan. He is the hardest boss in the dungeon but entirely manageable at 14–16.
Adds first: Two demon adds apply poison. Kill both before focusing Bazzalan. Antidotes or healer management for the DoT.

⚔️ Recommended Classes

RFC is forgiving enough that almost any composition works. Mage AoE is particularly effective on the tightly grouped trash packs in the lava tunnels. At levels 13–15 a Warrior tank may struggle to hold threat against AoE — communicate with your group about pull pacing before engaging big packs.

💡 Tips & Warnings

🐢

Turtle WoW custom quests: Pick up both custom quests from Orgrimmar before entering. They require items from specific bosses and trash mobs and cannot be completed retroactively on a later run.

💡

Best levels: Queue at 14–16 for RFC. At 13 it's a genuine challenge; by 18 you'll be steamrolling it. The sweet spot is 14–15 where it feels like a proper dungeon.

⚠️

Horde only: RFC is technically accessible to Alliance players but has no quest rewards for them and sits deep in enemy territory. This is a Horde leveling dungeon.
