Why choose Dwarf?

Dwarf is a durable Alliance choice whose active racial can remove several effects that normally force a potion, cooldown or healer response.

How Dwarf feels to level

Stoneform is a genuine recovery button against poison, disease and bleed effects. Find Treasure is modest but pleasant while travelling through caves and ruins, and gun skill naturally supports Hunters who prefer firearms.

PvE

Dwarf Priest is notable for the race-specific Priest spell Fear Ward. Stoneform also answers encounter-specific debuffs, while Frost Resistance has occasional value rather than defining the race.

PvP

Stoneform can remove bleeds, poisons and diseases and temporarily prevent new ones, making it valuable against Rogues, Warriors and several class debuffs. It rewards knowing what effect is actually threatening you.

Do not mix versions: Gun Specialization is useful only while a gun is equipped; do not reject a much stronger bow solely to preserve the racial bonus.

Does race choice decide your character?

No. Racials influence optimisation and create useful moments, but class knowledge, gear, professions, encounter preparation and whether you enjoy the character matter more for most players. Choose optimisation when you value it; choose identity when that keeps you playing.
