Scepter of Celebras step-by-step route
Collect the Celebrian Rod
Kill Noxxion in the orange-side route and ensure every eligible player receives the component.
Collect the Celebrian Diamond
Kill Lord Vyletongue on the purple-side route and loot the second component.
Defeat Celebras the Cursed
Continue toward inner Maraudon and clear the area before interacting with the redeemed NPC.
Accept the ritual quest
Speak with Celebras the Redeemed and protect him while he moves through the scripted event.
Complete the scepter
Follow the ritual, combine or turn in the components as directed, and confirm the Scepter appears in your inventory.
Before you start
- Both Maraudon wing components
- A group reaching Celebras
- Bag space for the permanent scepter
Keep unique quest items until the complete chain is turned in. If a step appears unavailable, check faction, minimum level and the previous NPC rather than assuming the guide belongs to a different version.
Why this chain is worth completing
The Scepter teleports the party to inner Maraudon through the portal area, enabling much faster Princess and inner-wing runs.
Common mistakes
- Running only one wing and expecting the complete item.
- Starting Celebras's ritual while the room is not clear.
- Deleting the Scepter after completing the quest.

Is this guide for official Classic Era?
Yes. It excludes Turtle WoW custom content, Season of Discovery changes and later-expansion quest revisions.
What if the starting NPC has no quest?
Check the listed faction and level, then trace the previous prerequisite. Dungeon and attunement chains commonly hide behind an earlier capital or zone handoff.
Can I complete it solo?
Ordinary travel and collection stages often can be soloed. Elite, dungeon, escort and raid steps should be treated as group content at the intended level.
