The short recommendation
Library is the second Scarlet Monastery wing and the source of the Scarlet Key required for Armory and Cathedral. Clear Houndmaster Loksey, defeat Arcanist Doan, then loot the key from the chest behind him before anyone leaves.
Choose the run before inviting
Standard Library
Courtyard and halls → Houndmaster Loksey → Athenaeum → Arcanist Doan → Scarlet Key chest.
Quest-book sweep
Mythology of the Titans, Compendium of the Fallen and Mage objectives sit on shelves; assign players to call them out.
Key run
Even a direct run must kill Doan and loot the chest. Confirm every player who needs the key interacts with it.
Before travelling
- Collect faction and class book quests before travelling.
- Library does not require the Scarlet Key; it provides the key for later wings.
- Bring humanoid control and interrupts for Scarlet casters.
- Leave bag space for books and quest rewards.

Role checklist
Control the route
Mark dangerous targets, use line-of-sight and pause before events. Protect the healer before chasing damage.
Call your mana
Drink before scripted waves, prioritise dispels and stop impatient pulls while resources are low.
Interrupt and control
Respect marked targets, stop dangerous casts and prevent runners from collecting another pack.
Common wipe and wasted-time risks
- Leaving without looting the Scarlet Key.
- Missing a shelf quest object and forcing a backtrack.
- Standing beside Doan during Detonation.
- Area damage breaking humanoid crowd control.
