Why we rebuilt
Answers without the clutter.
Classic Quest Log exists because “Classic” now describes several incompatible games, while the answer a player needs is often buried below ads, old patches or Discord history.
Our promise
- Every guide names its supported game version.
- The useful answer appears before background detail.
- Update dates reflect genuine review, not an automatic timestamp.
- Rumours, datamining and official announcements use different labels.
- Advertising must leave the main answer visible and usable.
Where the project came from
This project began as TurtleWowhead, a large community guide site for Turtle WoW. Turtle WoW permanently closed in May 2026. Instead of continuing to publish unusable installation and server information, the site is being rebuilt around official Classic versions.
Generic design and research work is being retained. Turtle-specific mechanics are not silently converted into official Classic facts. Historically distinctive material will remain in a separate, clearly labelled archive.
Corrections
Classic contains edge cases, version differences and long prerequisite chains. Corrections should identify the page, labelled game version and evidence supporting the change. A public corrections workflow will be added before launch.
